There have been many famous figures throughout the history of Aloria, whose narratives are varied, their origins complex, and their narratives intriguing. Most live or lived lives beyond the standard of life in the world, above the position of commoners, lacking or not overtly possessing faith, and having an array of diverse origins from across Aloria. These are just some of those figures who have worked to shape the world. OOC NOTE: This list is not meant to be a comprehensive record of every notable figure in Aloria. The people here are also not meant to take away from, or reduce, the accomplishments of other notable characters who are not on the list. The only reason they were not included was due to too little information, their story veered too much into deeplore territory, or their inclusion would have created confusion. The goal of this list, and the others in the People section, is to provide fun, background lore to be discussed in character applications or mentioned in-game.
Amelie D’fer
Born to a wealthy Ithanian family, Amelie had unconventional interests growing up. However, the openness of her parents allowed her to explore these paths, culminating in a trip to Hadar itself after associating with migrant Allar back home for several years. Amelie’s focus, on understanding alchemy and engaging the unique Race who were masters of it, might have withered with a few more years, but it was then that both of her parents died when their ship sank in a terrible storm. The young woman came into her family’s mining fortune, and instead turned it toward her passion, while her uncle and his family took over her family’s industrial operations. Willing to fund Allar experimentation, she established ties with their boards of alchemy, and with a Slizzar servant named Margo at her side, proceeded to invite Allar to Ithania and her private estate to conduct their work. When the Chrysant War came, she took care of who she could, and redoubled her efforts after the conflict ended by founding the Iron Fist, an alchemical organization. To this day, her manor remains a place of alchemical learning, where students engage with a number of alchemists in-residence. Amelie does not coast on the funds she inherited long ago, for much of her modern wealth comes from her role in the cosmetics and beauty space, multiple alchemical creations branded with the Iron Fist logo, and sold across the world.
Ammunakhonet
While the legend of the infamous Bandaged Lord has many adventures added on, the origins of this Undead Asha begin prior to the Cataclysm. Born into slavery, Ammunakhonet had the great fortune of being from the generation who saw the Allorn Empire fall, and the Asha escape the Ashal Isles. A fearsome warrior by the end of the Great Journey, he was one of several leaders to take to the waters, and founded the first of the Corsair Fleets. However, Ammunakhonet also sought out the aid of a trio of free Asha necromancers to both delve into the history of his people, but also, methods to ensure he would be able to continue to lead his people against the Allorn Races. His Fleet performed spectacularly over the coming decades, but when he finally died of old age, he was born anew. His body was entombed, but his spirit possessed a wrapped statue of his likeness, and he has continued to serve as commander to his ships ever since. The battles of the Kheni-Hetef Fleet are many, and have occurred across Aloria, from clashes with the Regalian Navy decades ago, to persistent targeting of Allorn territory, to raids abroad in distant lands. Many have sought to kill this vessel-bound beastman, but none have yet succeeded, and his Fleet is rabidly loyal to him. Today, his ships continue to operate how best he sees fit, and there is no indication he is ready to let go of the unlife he worked so hard to achieve.

Ainife
A Feka Asha born among the Daendroque states of southern Westwynd, Ainife had a difficult start to her life. Despite being shunned by her mother’s side of the family, she embraced her Asha heritage, and came to despise the nearby Allorn states and the Ithanian lands to the north. However, she buried this beneath a love of the arts, and spent hours each day practicing her skills in dance. She soon joined a traveling troupe of performers, and came to learn they did not just earn their living through their artistic work, but also thievery. The headstrong young Half-Asha soon helped to steer their sights to focus on Elves and their supporters rather than the general audience, and Ainife’s troupe would travel into Ithania where they saw their greatest successes. Initially, the robberies went unreported or only locally investigated, but when Ainife upgraded her personal activities to the freeing of slaves, more pressure was applied to trace the perpetrator of such crimes. To keep her friends safe, she had to leave them, departing with her mentor and embarking on a solo career which crossed Westwynd and beyond for another decade before her old age saw her settle down and teach her skills to apprentices. She died suddenly at the age of sixty, her death widely rumored to be the retribution of Allorn powers and their allies who had so long failed to catch up to her.
- Date of Birth: Est. Summer, 33 AC
- Date of Death: Est. Autumn, 93 AC
- Claim to Fame: A famous Half-Asha performer and secret thief, who’s anti-Allorn exploits were revealed upon her retirement.
Davide Demarch-Sapelle
The young man and future musical prodigy was born to Ithanian aristocrats who had migrated to Fendarfelle to help directly oversee local plantation efforts in the region. Not the first, or last, of his half dozen siblings, Davide’s younger years are a bit of a mystery until the age of eight. It was at this age that he received his own private tutor, and when he was first introduced to playing music. He stunned his tutor, and then family, with his natural gifts, and by the age of ten, he had traveled to Sovereign Ithania to further his musical training, before graduating and going on to engage in a string of performances across the region. He soon married, and returned home, curiously shunning the many requests to come and visit with those elsewhere, instead drawing attention to his home region in Fendarfelle. The tourism that came from this interest in his skills, and soon those of his students, helped the region thrive, and he took to playing orchestral pieces of his own creation for visiting or local crowds who poured into venues to witness his skills. The Bone Horror Crisis significantly disrupted these good times, but in recent years, Davide is back to conducting and composing his music, while also serving as a father to his four children.
- Date of Birth: 12th of March, 257AC

Phanasya Lompa
Phanaya was born to a Slizzar mother and Allar father after the arrival of the Allar to Hadar, but still within the early decades of their arrival. Fascinated by this new Race, and his father’s work, he quickly took to learning alchemical skills for himself, and following the Cataclysm, used the chaos it brought to help build a commercial, and criminal, empire for himself. While he grew plants for agricultural and alchemical purposes, he also grew more exotic crops, and crafted drugs for sale locally in Hadar, and later, to nearby Ailor and Elven territories. However, his most successful concoction was his development of Adarrajya, a substance which gave Slizzar religious significant visions. Completing this task in 130 AC, he initially kept the drug’s creation process a secret, until one of his Allar apprentices betrayed him by revealing the methodology in order to take a leading seat in Allar society. Within three decades, Phanaya had vanished with his longtime friend (and likely eventual lover) Bhavin, while his operations spun off into various legitimate enterprises or criminal projects which moved in new directions. Phanaya has not been declared dead to this day, as many Slizzar believe he and his partner left for a decidedly quiet retirement. But, one can never know anything for certain when Slizzar are involved.
- Date of Birth: Est. June 16th, 150 BC

- Claim to Fame: Slizzar alchemist who initially ran a criminal empire, before creating a religiously significant substance for his people and vanishing soon after.
Indah Fadhlanibu
Young Indah was born to simple Allar planters who thrived in the early years of Allar transposition to Hadar. Some of his earliest memories were of helping his father maintain the infrastructure of their aquatic pools, and he was soon noted for his perceptive ability. This trait was noted further when the local Digmaan toured the region, and the young Indah impressed him with these skills of observation. Barely ten, he was swept up in a system of patronage that saw those skills heightened, and he was put to work in the Digmaan’s court as a scribe and scholar. While knowledge of the past was all but forbidden, the ecologies across Hadar’s many islands were still being explored and understood, and this Allar pushed his patron to let him lead expeditions to these places, which was granted. For decades, Indah explored and examined the wildlife and plants, cataloging and assessing them, discovering dozens of new species in both areas along the way. He also paved the way for Allar alchemists to fully understand the world around them, and ultimately gained renown across the many nations slowly forming in Hadar. He continued this work throughout his long life, before he ultimately passed away from old age, surrounded by his own children and several grandchildren.
- Date of Birth: Est. 231 BC
- Date of Death: Est. 48 BC
- Claim to Fame: A notable Allar scholar of biology who helped the Allar better understand Hadar.
Hâmmu Adda-En-Kalla
The Eronidas have often been judged to be limited in the arts, which is grossly untrue. However, one young Eronidas warrior has been working to prove that assessment wrong even since he first confronted it. Born into the harsh Eronidas lands in western Westwynd, Hâmmu Adda-En-Kalla’s sole focus was initially on warfare. The people of the region were fractured, and he raided with his parents, siblings and fellows into nearby lands, or against their fellow Eronidas. But with time came inspiration, or as the Eronidas named it, a godly calling. Pulled away from solely the field of battle, Hâmmu took on the role of lamenter and death-poet in his community. His raw skills were astounding, and they only improved as the decades wore on. In 290 AC, he traveled away from his homeland to absorb inspiration elsewhere in other Eronidas societies, but by the time he returned, he learned his parents had both been killed in the Ranger Crisis. The poem he composed for them is said to have even made captured Teledden weep with sympathy for his loss. He remains a poet today, having largely set aside his warrior’s life to raise a family with his partner, gaining inspiration from the Eronidas’ past more than their present, as it too often fouls his mood to ponder the chaos of recent years.
- Date of Birth: May 23rd, 220 AC
- Date of Death: N/A
- Claim to Fame: A skillful Eronidas poet who rose from a simple warrior to compose inspiring, moving works, and still does to this day.
Gimmora Fokuthdutt
Gimmora was born in the dying days of her people’s Empire, to a family whose original craft no longer mattered in the scramble for survival against the Dakkar menace. Instead, she found her life out on the harsh surface of Ellador among the Ailor, who she took a shining to. In the wake of the disaster that birthed the Isldar and blanketed the northern lands in unnatural cold, the Ailor had suffered but still survived to offer the Dwarves aid in their time of need. To repay this debt, Gimmora would take to hunting and guarding camps for the Ailor, and with time, this turned into a desire to help the Ailor rediscover the surface world, which had been fundamentally reshaped by the freak blizzards and more. She became known as Gimmora the Grappler, using the tool to ascend great cliffs and skirt the peaks of mountains as she helped the Ailor rechart the lands of Ellador. She married a Velheim man, and later settled in what would become the lands of the Hedrylli Empire. Gimmora ultimately died under mysterious circumstances, some claiming she was the first Dwarf to ever encounter an Isldar, and died for the possibility of revealing this secret, but others believe she simply fell. The least intriguing possibility is, however, most likely, that she passed away peacefully in the twilight years of her long life. She remains well remembered today as one of the first bonds of blood the Dwarves made with the Ailor, and her adventurous spirit has inspired many in the centuries since her death.

- Date of Death: Est. 310 BC
- Claim to Fame: An adventurous Dwarf who became close to the Ailor, and ultimately integrated with their society while assisting them in their survival.
Eret the Bloodseeker
The Urlan known as Eret the Bloodseeker is infamous among the community of hunters, trappers, and more across Aloria. Where there is exotic and rare game to be found, Eret will visit it once, so they swore in an oath a mere two decades after they were born. Little is known about Eret’s origins, if they were born an Urlan or transformed into one, but it is clear they came from the north due to their bovid form. Their name was first made in Corontium, when Eret took down a madened Surian Mist Beast, alone, following it up with the defeat of a giant predatory bird which had been threatening a region of Anglia for over 100 years. They then moved further south, and slew countless exotic horrors of the water and surface, before, in more recent decades, returning to the north to begin the hunt anew. They are a silent, solitary hunter, refusing membership in a number of guilds for the desire of following where the will of the hunt takes them, their sole companion being their Erker Mount. The most recent hunt by Eret is said to have had a rather nasty result, the death of not one, but three Wyverns, which has prompted some to suspect Eret is now in hiding from the resurgent Isldar. Regardless, their reputation has preceded them for decades, and many a young Urlan hopes to possess their skills of tracking, trapping, and warrior prowess.

- Claim to Fame: A powerful Urlan hunter well known across Aloria for their vast array of trophies claimed from exotic locales.
Qawiuna Amira
Qawinuna Amira was born into a society well adapted to their changed circumstances. Over two centuries prior, the Sariyd Empire had fallen to the Songaskia, and now the two Races were engaged in a ferocious conflict, though it was a fight largely carried out by constructs of dead material or metal over a barely changing border. Qawiuna’s family were part of Qadir society closest to this conflict, building and repairing machines of war to march off and do battle with the creations of the Songaskia. Qawiuna thus grew up learning the ways of war, and the creation of war machines. She gained notoriety soon after the age of twenty, when schematics she’d designed were used to substantially improve a model of infantry machine used on the frontline. When deployed to oversee her upgrades in action, she proved a natural tactical mind, pushing a slight bulge into the Songaskian lines, giving the Qadir real progress for the first time in decades. Elevated by these two successes, Qawiuna was given great leeway to explore her designs for machines of war, and took the chance to tour other regions of the world. When she came back, she helped make more incremental advancements, while also beginning work on enhancing the traditional weaponry of her people. When the Bone Horrors rose, she was one of several key contributors to the proto-Firearms which kept Qadir lands safe. Since then, her star has remained high among the Qadir and other communities of engineers across Aloria, and she still helps oversee the border between her people, and the Songaskia.
- Date of Birth: October 12th, 249 AC
- Date of Death: N/A
- Claim to Fame: A highly skilled Qadir engineer and military commander helping to lead her people’s endless war effort.
Qaleem Llommeniir
Qaleem was dormant for untold millennia before being awoken in the modern day around 120 AC. What their life was before their slumber is unclear to them even all of these years later, but eventually the Vault’s population went to live with the Maraya of Hadar. Thriving in the organized Tohn society they now lived in, Qaleem took to examining the architecture that surrounded them, such as it was, laying all in ruins. He took to delving into the ruins of the ancient tower which had once stood where the Tohn now founded itself, and soon took up a unique profession: architect. He designed countless structures and alterations to the expanding urban growth of his people as the next century wore on, and more were recovered or birthed within the nation. By the dawn of the third century, he at last reached into the realm of engineering. He crafted small machines at first, to help him in his work, before moving on to larger creations based on what he had seen beneath the waves and surface of the world. Today, Qaleem’s name echoes across the Maraya information network, renowned for his artistry in many fields, and also a figurehead for the ideals of the Tohn Maraya. United with a wife for decades now, he has also produced half a dozen children, the oldest of which have already taken into the same fields of study as their father.

- Date of Death: N/A
- Claim to Fame: A Maraya loyal to the ideas of his people’s state in Hadar, and notable for his artistic explorations.
Mojisola Ouattara
Better known as the Chain Queen of the Sands, Mojisola was born to minor Songaskian aristocrats. The family was led by her mother, and with four daughters, Mojisola as the third youngest was largely left alone to pursue her path to bring glory to her household. She ultimately chose the rare and exotic weapon of the chain whip, barbed and requiring considerable skill to use. Mojisola developed those skills over the next two decades, training every day to perfect her technique, and putting on displays of her prowess against foreign fighters, but also letting them serve as tests of her skills. Her attitude saw her become friends with fellow unique young female nobles, creating a group who frequently traveled and trained together. Of the several members, Mojisola was the most physical, though she still taught defensive tactics to these friends. When the First Songaskian War began, she had hoped to deploy abroad, but the quick reversal of the Masaya’s fortunes saw her instead serve in the Hadravian War. There, guarding a route deeper into her people’s empire, she did battle with the powerful Arkenborn Tristan Kade, and beat him in combat, a rare feat for any warrior. While the war ended soon after, her reputation was made, and to this day she remains one of the most feared Songaskian combatants in Aloria.

- Date of Death: N/A
- Claim to Fame: A fearsome Songaskian combatant who gained great notoriety in recent warfare with the Regalian Empire.
Calvannis
Calvannis is a near myth to the modern world, but is strongly believed real by the scholarly community, and most Elves. An enslaved man of unknown origin, he is said to have languished for over a decade after supposedly being captured in Oldtera, though others contend he was born into his wretched existence. Despite this, he was supposedly strong, stronger than any of the other slaves, and was sometimes made to fight against fellow slaves for the delight of his masters. How he eventually escaped also has a number of myths to it, from gaining the love of his master’s rebellious daughter, to voices which bewitched the guards, and helped him leave, due to being blessed by a god. Ultimately, he did not escape alone, and over the coming years, led a growing band of slaves which eventually turned into an army. This army then became several, and the principality finally sent for aid, roused from their lethargic response by real fears of a threat forming to cripple Allorn slave-powered society. It is at this point that things are further confused. Some claim Calvannis surrendered himself and all of his enslaved people to Allorn custody, on the condition no one be harmed, and that the day be forever honored as a holiday for the slave class. Others state he fought a battle so bloody he and his entire horde perished together. A final, more likely theory though, is that Calvannis left the principality and traveled north, seeking sanctuary and new land for settlement, though his armies dwindled with time. In the end, it does not matter what became of him, as his memory as an emancipator has made him an enemy to every slave-keeper today, and a figure of near worship by those in bondage.
- Date of Birth: Est. 3000 BC
- Date of Death: Est. 2950 BC
- Claim to Fame: A great freer of slaves, and a symbol of Ailor resilience in the face of Allorn might.
