The Crafting Point buy is part of the bigger Test System. Please read the Proficiency Page first before reading this one. The Crafting Point Buy allows the Character to buy into certain Hobby or Craft Activities. Most of these Packs only exist to give roleplay flair and a bit of balancing to Character design to imply they have an occupation besides just bar-crawling or combat roleplaying in the streets. They can also enhance a roleplayer's experience, especially if there is some OOC content to their creation. For example, if you are an artist out of game, you could consider drawing the things your Character makes and selling them (even for Wealth Tokens in the Progresion System, which allows your Character to spend that money on a variety of activities!).

Metallurgy Craft Pack

The Metallurgy Craft Pack makes your Character proficient at the creating and using of metals, alloys, and other rare earth metals to produce parts or whole items, such as weapons or shields or tools. Metallurgy is not required for Engineering, though many Engineers often pick it, as it allows them to skip the process of buying materials. When buying this Pack, your Character gains the skills necessary to craft with all Materials described on the Metals page. They can also acquire the raw ore for most of them, so long as they are not limited to Progressions.

  • Note: An advanced Permission exists for this Pack. If applied for, Lore Staff will measure your Character design (is this a Forging focused Character?) and your roleplay activities (does this Character provide active forging/smithing services to the player base and are they known as a smith?) If approved, you may work with Lore Staff to design two extra Metals which will then be canonized on the Metals Page.
  • Generally speaking, when comparing skill with other Characters, the higher Creativity Stat presumes superiority of skill and design.

Wood Craft Pack

The Wood Craft Pack makes your Character proficiency at the creating and use of wood crafts such as: carving, bending, processing, etc. Wood Craft can also be used as a supplement for Metallurgy, to for example make intricate handles or wooden parts and bows, but is not required to make a whole weapon with a more standard hilt. Wood Craft also extends itself further to for example carving into constructions, building cabins and houses, carts, and other forms of wooden construction. When buying this Pack, your Character gains the skills necessary to craft with all Materials described on the Woods page. They can also acquire the raw wood from most of them, so long as they are not limited to Progressions.

  • Note: An advanced Permission exists for this Pack. If applied for, Lore Staff will measure your Character design (is this a Woodworking focused Character?) and your roleplay activities (does this Character provide active woodworking/building services to the player base and are they known as a woodworker?) If approved, you may work with Lore Staff to design a unique Wood for the Woods page, and request countryside constructions made out of wood by your Character in Rp Community Discord Tickets.

Thread Craft Pack

The Thread Craft Pack makes your Character proficient at the creating and use of thread and fabric: clothing sewing and design, weaving, threading, rope making, sail making, etc. When buying this Pack, your Character gains the skills necessary to craft with all Materials described on the Fibers page. They can also acquire the raw fibers from most of them, so long as they are not limited to Progressions.

  • Note: An advanced Permission exists for this Pack. If applied for, Lore Staff will measure your Character design (is this a Weaver/Sewing focused Character?) and your roleplay activities (does this Character provide active clothing making/fabrics services to the player base and are they known as such?) If approved, you may work with Lore Staff to design a unique Fabric or Fiber for the Fibers page.

Earthenware Craft Pack

The Earthenware Craft Pack makes your Character proficient at the creating of clay, marble, stone, or otherwise earthenware items, utensils, or constructions. When buying this Pack, your Character gains the skills necessary to craft and work with all Materials described on the Earthenwares page. They can also acquire the raw materials from most of them, so long as they are not limited to Progressions. This Pack involves not only the making of for example clay pots or statues, but also marble carving and brick making, as well as stone construction.

  • Note: An advanced Permission exists for this Pack. If applied for, Lore Staff will measure your Character design (is this a Sculpting/Pottery focused Character?) and your roleplay activities (does this Character provide active pottery/sculpting services to the player base and are they known as such?) If approved, you may work with Lore Staff to design a unique Earthenware, Stone, or Clay Material for the Earthenware page, and request countryside constructions made out of stone by your Character in Rp Community Discord Tickets.
