Aloria has rich and expansive fauna. This page specifically is dedicated to all recorded, extinct or still living, animals that roam the world of Aloria. Whether the animal can be kept as a pet or roam the world untamed, or whether the beast lives in the sea or the sky, there are plenty of Fauna to read about in this vast land.

For a list of all fauna, written and unwritten, see Animals.

Mammals and Birds

All across Aloria are the distinct mammals and birds that take residence in the varying habitats. While some of the included species may be prey, the others can be predators. Either docile or dangerous, these animals are worth taking a look at, as knowing the difference between a Dire Wolf and Wolf may just save your life.

Reptiles and Amphibians

Sliding just at the surface of the water or sunbathing on rocks, reptilians and amphibians are everywhere in Aloria. Some are small, barely bigger than a hand while others are the size of ships. These creatures can also live in some of the most hostile yet beautiful environments so watch yourself when you enter into an oasis or pantanal.

Fish and Cetacean

Roaming the oceans and waters of Aloria, the whales and fishes are more friend than they are foe. The aquatic landscape that belongs to the creatures that thrive in the deep can be admired for all of its natural beauty. Whether they live in the deeper ends of the world or the shallowest rivers, the marine animals are certainly subjects of note.

Insects, Anthropods, Mollusca, and Echinoderms

There are many insects and other so called “creepy crawlies” in Aloria. Whether skittering around with segmented little bodies or dragging fat forms across the ground, they can be found across all different terrains in Aloria.

Magus

Among all the categories previously mentioned, the Magus is the most peculiar by far. This is the category that holds the creatures that the scholars were incapable of classifying, and no one can really blame them for it. From the silly Haurmann to the terrifying Temple Orphan, it’s a good rule of thumb to put as much distance between yourself and this category.
