|fauna8desc = The Turbahakh is a simple housepet to many, an intellectual curiosity to some and, like its [[Capuchini]] cousin, a pest to most. Known for a tendency to scream, a nimble body, and a near-sentient mind, these monkeys are synonymous with the [[Asha States]]. Almost entirely urbanized, they prowl the streets of [[Bestaal]], haul metal in [[Nakhoor]] for shelter, and are dutifully cared for in [[Ssil]]. Almost every person in the Asha States has a story with the Turbahakh, be it having their food thieved by a city pest or seeing a finely-dressed specimen lugging around wines in a Lord’s estate, though not as a servant as slavery is strictly illegal in the Ashal states, but because the Lord promised the Turbahakh that it could have a few bottles of its own if it performed that task. Many of the Asha-Turbahakh interactions are built upon mutually beneficial arrangements, that usually end up in the Turbahakh cutting the better deal out of the kindness of the Asha.

|fauna9    = [[Silvershale]]
|fauna9desc = Silvershales are large, well-built mounts primarily wielded by the [[Heartland Cultures]] of the [[Regalian Empire]]. Originally believed to be monsters capable of tearing a man to shreds, they were later discovered to be quite the gentle giant., Their great throwing capacity has resulted in their modern use as living siege engines, capable of hurling great boulders at their rider’s foe. Silvershales are also highly complex in their private, isolated groups, with a complex societal structure but also a deep caring between members of the same species. Uncommon in the world today, it is likely wild and domesticated populations will remain balanced, but generally low, for the foreseeable future.

Aloria is rich in both fauna and flora. This page specifically is dedicated to all recorded, extinct or still living, animals that roam the world of Aloria. All animals are split into their relevant categories. Keep in mind that this list is not final and will be added to when necessary. As a player you may claim one of the animals and try to write a Player Lore Prompt, though remind yourself to consult Lore staff about any relevant descriptions! Anyone is permitted to Roleplay a domesticated feline, canine, or songbird where applicable. For any other wild animal, please consult Lore staff as some animals are too wild and hostile to survive in an urban city like Regalia.
