Religions, both new and old, exist all across [[Aloria]] and give millions hope, pleasure, and happiness in their daily lives. Some are widely accepted by nations and [[Races]] like [[Unionism]], but others are not, or are often restricted to a single Race or people. There are also many cults and offshoots of the greatest or oldest Religions, further adding depth to the colorful landscape. Despite all of that, faith can be a great unifier in Aloria as much of the [[Regalian Empire]] can attest, but it can also lead to conflict, as many incidents in the history of the Regalian Empire can relay.
Religions on Massivecraft exist to create depth and complexity to Roleplay that usually are not evident in Character Creation. Each Religion imposes a concept, or a list of vices and virtue, that create storied principles both within a Character, and frame how they interact with the wider world inspired by their Gods and in order to do right by them. Each Character can worship a single Religion, though Ailor are able to worship two Religions. There is also a more advanced Religious concept called Syncretism, read more on this in the Expanded Religion Pages further below. Expanded Religious Pages

The Expanded religious pages are not required reading for new players. They offer additional advanced religious concepts or lore, that is usually used to expand the lore universe.

  • Syncretism is a religious concept that allows a Character who already believes one religion, to adopt a few concepts of an additional religion to widen their roleplay opportunities.
  • Lore Staff to add more expanded religious pages here where pertinent at a later point in time.
