Common Knights Code
The Common Knights Code applies to all Regalian Knight Organizations, but is also mentioned specifically on each Order page for reference. This Common Code is additional to the Aelrrigan Knight Functions.
Knights are expected to be loyal to the Emperor and the Empire without complaint. Unionism is not required, but obedience to the Crown is.
Knights are expected never to attack the unarmed and defenseless, and to not resort to dirty fighting tricks or attack others from behind.
Knights are expected not to complain, moan, or self-deprecate, Knights should never degrade themselves or be an annoying bore.
Knights are expected to follow the laws of the land and not become a Criminal. They should assist Guards in apprehending criminals.
Knights are expected not to lie, but never express every truth that needn’t be known. Knights should not deceive unless for the greater good.
Knights are expected to give alms to the poor and care for the needy, and to protect those who cannot protect themselves, and punish dishonor.
List of Knightly Orders
Viridian Order
Identity: The Viridian Order is the first of the Regalian Knightly Orders, founded after the Five Family Rebellion to fill the vacuum left in its wake to preserve law and order, and protect the Imperial Family. Over the three centuries of its existence, the Viridian Knights have become known as an elite and prestigious organization, acting as the so-called military police of the Empire.
Permitted Races: Ailor and Fin'ullen may become Viridian Knights. Post-symbiosis Urlan may remain as full members, so long as they remain fervently loyal to the Viridian Order.
Magic Usage: Magic usage is fully banned, as are all forms of Occult. The Viridian Order is fully mundane and purist-leaning.
Colors and Symbols: The Viridian Order's primary color is green, with accents of white and black. Its symbols include Dragons, Horses, and Towers.
Leadership: The Viridian Order is led by a Primae, who wields executive authority over its Elder Council of senior knights. The current Primae is Domenico Lampero, who is also the uncle of the Iron Duke of Vultaro, and a diehard Kade supporter.
Headquarters: The Viridian Order's main castle, Kurtenwald, is located on the Crown Isle of Regalia. Several chapter houses are located in Wirtem, Regal, Ithanian, and Ceardian regions of the Regalian Archipelago.
Villiers Order
Identity: The Villiers Order is a faith-oriented Knight Order, focused on defending religious and cultural sites, protecting pilgrims and religious leaders from harm, and safeguarding the spiritual wellbeing of all people.
Permitted Races: Ailor, Altalar, Songaskia, Sihai, Asha, Eronidas, and Urlan may be Villiers Knights.
Magic Usage: Magic is shunned in the Villiers Order, meaning its usage is kept suppressed in favor of mundane techniques. Godborn and Archon may be Knights, but all other Occult are banned.
Colors and Symbols: The Villiers Order's primary color is burgundy, with accents of magenta and pink. Its symbols include Fleur-de-Lis, Roses, and Storks.
Leadership: The Villiers Order is led by a ceremonial Primae, with actual authority bestowed upon its Elder Council. The current Primae is Charlize Matrais, who was appointed by King Florent of Ithania, the previous holder of the position.
Headquarters: The Villiers Order's main castle, Carainthais, is located on the isle of Basta. Several chapter houses are located in major religious centers across the Regalian Empire.
Bloodcast Order
Identity: The Bloodcast Order started as a splinter faction of the Viridian Order, which soon grew into a respected Knightly Order by itself. Bloodcast Knights are skilled duelists who utilize their combat prowess to help the common person, exposing corruption among those with power, and holding them accountable to those they rule over.
Permitted Races: Ailor, Qadir, Songaskia, Dwarves, Sihai, Altalar, Asha, Eronidas, Urlan, and Allar may be Bloodcast Knights.
Magic Usage: Magic is shunned in the Bloodcast Order, meaning its usage is kept suppressed in favor of mundane techniques. Godborn and Archon may be Knights, but all other Occult are banned.
Colors and Symbols: The Bloodcast Order's primary color is red, with accents of black and white. Its symbols include Crossed swords, ships, and scales.
Leadership: The Bloodcast Order is led by a Grand Elder, who sits as the first among equals on and Elder Council. The current Grand Elder is Richard Duurwallis, who has held the position since the Drachenwald Crisis.
Headquarters: The Bloodcast Order's main castle, Blücherwald, is located on the Crown Isle of Regalia. Several chapter houses are located across the Regalian Empire, some having once been owned by the Viridians.
Aelrrigan Order
Identity: The Aelrrigan Order is an arcane-focused Knightly Order tasked with fighting the negative effects of Magic in world, though does so by harnessing and teaching magic in an ethical manner, rather than repressing.
Permitted Races: Ailor and Altalar may become Aelrrigan Knights.
Magic Usage: Magic usage is encouraged within the Aelrrigan Order, and almost all knights have some form of magic. Godborn, Archon, and Silven are permitted, with all other Occult banned.
Colors and Symbols: The Viridian Order's primary color is sky blue, with accents of white and gray. Its symbols include Flaming Swords, Feathered Wings, and Sunlight.
Leadership: The Aelrrigan Order is led by a ceremonial Grandmaster, with actual authority bestowed upon its Elder Council of Mage-Knights. The current Grandmaster is Ffiontirre of Wythwaite.
Headquarters: The Aelrrigan Order's main castle, Evernac, is located in the mountains of Kintyr. Several chapter houses are located in Breizh regions of the Regalian Archipelago, as well as various Mohér, or Magi-Vaults, across Aloria.
