Creating a realistic body build for your character can be difficult. This page should help you understand what sort of body build your character may have based upon their lifestyles and backstory. To streamline this process, we have eliminated the need for an exact weight in Roleplay and character sheets alike. All characters will instead fall into one of the following body build categories. There are a few restrictions depending on race, so review each build before settling on one.

Character Creation and RP Tips
* With very limited exception explained in the applicable body build types, there is no distinct advantage or disadvantage to any particular body build. Imagining the visual appearance and size of your character should be for visual immersion rather than a vehicle for “winning.” Any sort of weaponry ability requires practice at the skill to be effective with it. Being strong alone does not change combat outcomes much, if anything.
* Emoting the exact weight of your character is never necessary. Attempting to outweigh another character is powergaming.
* Changing your body build on a sheet without a re-review is powergaming.
* Extremes beyond these playable body castes are physiologically possible in some cases, but these are the only ones that are playable. All characters must adhere to these playable builds. If the expanded visual information on a character sheet describes a body build aside from the ones provided, that information will simply be ignored.
* The available body builds can effectively describe any character. If you want to add more specifics than the general body build such as whether a female is hourglass or pear shaped, you may always expand in the Expanded Visual information section.

{{Body Table
|title = Available Body Builds

|body1    = Gaunt
|body1desc    = No race is capable of having a Gaunt body build without being unhealthy. Dwarves, Ur, Wulong, and Orcs will all die of starvation before reaching this body build. Many bones will be seen will be seen if a character has this build, and they will likely have other signs of malnourishment such as fatigue, dizziness, dark circles under the eyes, and more. Characters with Gaunt body builds have minimal muscle mass and almost no body fat.

|body2    = Lanky
|body2desc    = Lanky is the most common body build for the Nelfin races (except the Drowdar and Avanthar). This body build is nearly impossible for Dwarves, Ur, Wulong, and Orcs to achieve, and the aforementioned races would only have this build after many years of malnourishment. This malnourishment would likely stunt their height as well. This build is personified by being bony, but not extremely so. Characters with Lanky body builds have low muscle mass and body fat.

|body3    = Thin
|body3desc    = Thin is the most common body build for Chien-Ji, Al-Allar, Slizzar, Rashaq, and Lampar. This body build is slightly less bony than the lanky build, but is still somewhat willowy. This build is sometimes called dainty or petite. Thin is the middle ground between Lanky and Average. Characters with Thin body builds have low to average muscle mass and below average body fat.

|body4    = Athletic
|body4desc    = Athletic is the most common body build for Wulong, Tigran, Drowdar and Solang. This is the maximum muscle build for Nelfin species (except for Drowdar and Avanthar), Yanar, Rashaq, and Lampar. The Athletic body build is sometimes alternatively called Fit or Lean. Some muscles are visible, but this is more of the build of a long distance runner or agility based fighter.  Characters with Athletic body builds have higher than average muscle mass and low body fat.

|body5    = Average
|body5desc    = Average is the most common build for all Human races that are not otherwise mentioned. This is also the max body fat level for Nelfin species (except for Drowdar and Avanthar). As expected, this build is healthy for any race to have. Characters with Average body builds have both average body fat and muscle mass.

|body6    = Overweight
|body6desc = Overweight is the most common build for noble characters. Overweight individuals are slightly prone to getting tired more quickly from physical activity. It is not especially unhealthy to have this body build, but it is less healthy than an average build. Characters with Overweight body builds have low to moderate muscle mass, and above average body fat.

|body7    = Stocky
|body7desc = Stocky is the most common build for Dwarves and Sa-Allar, and is also the maximum muscle build for Dwarves. It is very difficult to be agile with this body build, but stocky individuals tend to do better than average with manual labor. Characters with Stocky body builds have above average body fat and above average muscle mass.

|body8    = Obese
|body8desc = The Obese body build is personified by having a high amount of body fat. Characters with this body build are much more susceptible to becoming exhausted during strenuous physical activity. Obese individuals will sometimes have other health problems such as aches and pains, back problems, etc. Characters with the Obese body build have high amounts of body fat, and from low to above average levels of muscle.

|body9    = Muscular
|body9desc = Muscular is the most common body build for Orcs, Avanthar, and other warrior races. On this body build, muscles will be very prominent and characters will be able to lift heavy things, as well as have slightly enhanced hand to hand combat. It should be noted that being extremely strong does not affect combat skills in any significant way, because any gains in hit strength will be effectively counterbalanced by drawbacks in agility. Characters with the Muscular body type have average levels of body fat and a high level of muscle mass.

|body10    = Bodybuilder
|body10 desc = Bodybuilders have a somewhat niche of a body build. Muscles on a character like this will be extremely chiseled and aesthetic and even physically stronger than muscular. This body build is extremely difficult to maintain, and actually hinders combat ability because of the amount of time your character must spend with special diets and special exercises to maintain this very eye pleasing body build. Since so much time is spent on this, less time can be spent practicing and maintaining weapon skills. An approved character application is required to play this body build. Characters with this body build have low body fat and high amounts of muscle mass.

|body11    = Strongman
|body11desc = The muscles on the Strongman body build are clearly visible, but the character will also appear extremely stocky. Characters with this body build are able to lift extremely heavy things and will have the most raw physical strength of any other body build. There is still no net increase to combat however, because this body build comes with an extreme loss in agility as well as endurance. A character application is required to play this body build, and being slow/lacking agility or having low stamina/endurance may not be used as weaknesses as these are already implied by the body build. Characters with this body build have high levels of body fat and high levels of muscle mass.
