  • It is important to note that Languages have a special set of rules. Common is free for all to know. Your character is allowed to know the dominant language of both parents only by default. So if your character's mother was Ithanian and their father Varran, then they are allowed to know the Varran and Ithanian Languages. If both parents have the same dominant Language, only that Language is learned. Language dominance is always dictated by the dominant Culture, not the dominant Language being used. Any further additional Languages require points into the Linguistic Knowledge Proficiency.
