Rinasalle is an Artifact weapon custom made for Wilvamair Arnyn as part of his loyal service to the Aelrrigan Knight Order. During its enchantment, Sixth-Mage Knight Rina stepped in, shaping the weapon’s abilities with a fraction of her magic in an act of goodwill. This is a Knight Artifact, obtained as a gift from the rank-up process.

Appearance

Rinasalle is an ornate bastard sword made largely of highly polished steel, with lightning-scar patterned inlays made of Laqoria starting at the sword’s tip. The crossguard has a medium sized tanzanite gemstone embedded in the center, which tapers into the dark blue leather-wrapped handle that ends in long tassels. When struck by lightning or when channeling its abilities, the Laqoria patterns and gemstone begin to glow.

Rinasalle is a Primal (Dragon Magic) Artifact. As Rinasalle is an artifact, there are several rules associated with Artifact Ownership, see the Artifact Page. Rinasalle also provides the following specials:

• Bonded Weapon: Rinasalle is a weapon bonded to its owner, Wilvamair Arnyn, and therefore cannot be taken from them or destroyed beyond repair. Rinasalle cannot leave emote range of Wilvamair, and will teleport back to their side if taken out of range. This does not prevent Wilvamair from being disarmed.
• Stormweaver: Rinasalle is a weapon with a high affinity for lightning, thunder, and thunderstorms. While wielding this blade, its user is immune to mundane electrical damage and granted Primal Enchant Magic Talent, though the magical aesthetics are limited to lightning and storms. Additionally, Rinasalle acts as a lightning rod when raised to the sky, and can optionally echo thunderous booms when clashing against hard objects (Shields, other swords, etc.).
