The Materials page covers fantastical materials of Aloria that are directly cited in-lore. All real-world Materials exist, in a period-accurate sense. For example, you cannot refer to titanium as a Material, but steel, copper, brass and so on are accessible without being described on this page.

You have complete freedom to invent Materials of your own with the understanding that different Materials are purely aesthetic, and you cannot for example create bulletproof armor or a sword that can cut anything. No Material is inherently Magical. That means that even if a mineral has swirls that glow in the dark, or was created through Magical treatment, it does not in and of itself carry any Magic.

To create Materials imbued with Magic, consult the Enchant Magic School.
