Conjurer Point Buy is part of the Proficiency System. Conjurer Point Buy is geared toward Summoners and manipulators who use all manner of illusions, servants and familiars in battle. Conjurer Point Buy provides Packs for the Character to become proficient Summoning, and the usage of Summoned Totems and entities in Combat.
Ability Aesthetics
Conjurer Point Buy operates under "Limited Aesthetics" rules. What this means is, Conjurer Point Buy can be freely used with the following guidelines and suggestions: summoning lesser demons, invoking woodland animals, summoning creatures, etc. This list is mostly comprehensive, but we accept suggestions for additions, within reason to the setting. However, this Proficiency is always Magic and cannot be re-flavored as not Magic. This Aesthetic Flavor has no effect on Ability functionality.
Summon Roleplay Rules
Conjurer Point Buy requires the use of summon items available to craft in game or purchase on the in game store. A free version will always be available for use, but alternate skins for vanity/cosmetics are purchasable.
- To summon a Conjuration, be sure you have one of the “Turret” tools in hand, and Right Click on a solid block (no stairs, dirt path, leaves, fences) to summon the model.
- To remove a Turret, be sure to Left Click (Do not hit it.) If you by chance do hit it, and can no longer remove it via Left Click, you will need to hit it many times to “kill” it.
- There is a cooldown on how many you can place at once, and you are always limited by the Stance’s limit on placements (Engineering Point Buy only allows for One to be placed at a time).
Demon Summoning Notice
This notice is unique to Conjuration Point Buy, as it is a general Warning from Lore Staff. By default, Conjuration Point Buy involves summoning non-sentient magical minions, which is Legal (as long as magic casting is Legal) and not overtly morally objectionable. You can choose to have Conjuration Point Buy involve your Character summoning Demons, but this makes the act extremely illegal, and morally questionable, which will attract the ire of other Characters. You have been warned.
Stance Ability
The Conjurer Stance Ability is required for all Conjurer Point Buy Abilities. This Ability cannot be point bought, but is included for free as long as one Conjurer Point Buy Pack has been purchased. This Ability does not do much besides enable further Conjurer Abilities. Stances cannot be Countered, Prevented, Canceled, or interrupted in any way. Please note, if your character has this Stance Ability, they cannot acquire any other Stance Abilities, regardless of their source.
