Aloria’s world is vast and varied. The snowy peaks of Ellador contrast the endless sands of Farah'deen, all surrounded by the Oceans of the world. Accompanying these distinctive climates and geographical features are a wide variety of Cultures and Races that cover the landscape, which emphasize the world's dramatic diversity and the fantastic sights one would encounter when traveling. Take a moment to read up on the incredible world of Aloria, and the fantastic lands within.
Corontium
Cradled in the middle of everything.
To many Regalian imperialists, Corontium is seen as the center of Aloria. Indeed, the area functions as a pivotal continental region in the middle of everything, and is well-connected with the rest of the world by diplomacy, politics, war, and trade. Corontium is the homeland of the Regalian Empire, arguably the most powerful in Aloria, and the people of the Regalian Archipelago owe their mastery of the world in part to the location they reside in.
Daen
A constant mixing-pot of strife and chaos.
Home to most Nelfin Races, Daen was the birthplace of the once-sprawling Allorn Empire. Possessing bountiful natural resources, such as vast jungles and fertile land, Aloria's various factions have wasted no time in attempting to divide the continent up between themselves. Ailor lands like Ithania exist and create their own widespread image and culture, the Asha make efforts to establish themselves as their own power and the powerful Eronidas competing with both wildlife and Avanthar alike for the glory of their kind. A far cry from its ancient, united past, the Daen of the modern age is Aloria's stewing pot, mixing many Races and Cultures into one ancient land.
The Far West
Darkness and light in equal measure.
The Far West was an expansion region off of Daen for the ancient Allorn Empire, but it was soon invested with the Faith of the Dark Ancients and other dark powers. From this, came the Kathar, though the northern regions recoiled and sealed themselves off from everyone. After the Cataclysm, the Dread Empire rose in the region and now battles with the forces of the mainland and that of the SuvialAltalar.
Essalonia
A refuge for many, mysterious and vast.
Essalonia is a rugged continent with few friends of the Regalian Empire save a few regions. Ailor nations cover much of its surface, though to the arid south live Songaskia and Qadir.
Farah’deen
The land of the shifting sands, and the mysterious people that inhabit it.
Farah'deen is a desert landmass to the far east of Regalia, and is occupied by the Songaskian and Qadir Races. Farah'deen is host to a variety of nations and states. The most notable of these is the Songaskian Masaya, but others such as the Qadir Hadrityas reside in the ever-shifting dune seas, stalwart and resolute in their stance. The recent Regalian invasion, as well as the Songaskian Civil War, have left the traces of civilization on its borders war-ridden and devastated as entire towns have been put to sword. Today, Farah'deen is experiencing a time of intrepid peace; one that may remain, or may spill out into bloodshed, as it has before.
Hadaria
What was once a peaceful and idyllic land now cries tears that will fall for generations.
Most recently known for the Chrysant War, the ancient home of the Slizzar has seen much conflict in its history. Refugee Allar came to this land following their own civil war in Sendras, but in the past few decades, Hadaria's history is steeped in war and manipulation. The Maraya also claim a presence here, the continent bringing together cultures that, whilst physically close, are ideologically far apart. Tropical, populous, and rich in aquatic life, the conflict-riddled past of Hadaria entirely betrays its idyllic appearance and exotic cultural practices.
Oldt Era
The cradle of Ailorkind, wild and untamed.
Oldt Era is known as the birthplace of Ailorkind, with a history lost to the ages. Early Ailor were beset by slaving vessels from the Allorn Empire, who helped spread them to Daen. Then, over generations, escaped slaves, intrepid explorers and expansions left Ceardia and helped to further spread the Ailor population across the world. Unfortunately, those that remained on Old Ceardia were savage and cruel, resulting in a time of Ceardian Warlords ruling and fighting amongst themselves. This came to an end with time, but it wasn’t long before the Ceardian people were dealt a new cruel hand by fate. The Destruction of Ceardia, caused by unknown magical forces, resulted in a huge evacuations, with the wild lands now left open for future settlers to return.
Sendrass
A thick, dark place filled with dangerous life.
Sendrass takes up the entire south of Aloria and is huge in size, with the colossal continent of Sendras holding untold miles of thick jungles, rich rivers and many dangerous creatures. It is from this land that the Allar originated and it is now where the Void worshipers of their population reside, along with their vile Sendrassian Empire. Nearby Solangeria is much the same but it has even more deadly beasts, and ruins from an era long forgotten.
The North Belt
The cliffs are cold; the people, colder.
The North Belt is the adopted homeland of the Velheim Ailor people, as well as some of the more unique Races in Aloria. The Url, with their strange origins through symbiosis with a strange worm and animal features, the Dwarves with their short stature and various dedications and the Isldar with their unique abilities to resist the cold and affinity for the Dragons of Aloria. All emerged in this cold region of the world, which despite its harshness can produce great forms of life on land but especially at sea.
Fendarfelle
Untamed and untrampled, this colonial land is seen as a manifest destiny for its Ithanian colonies.
Volcanic, colonial, and largely unexplored, the mysterious continent of Fendarfelle has historically been untouched land, only recently facing intervention by Regalia in the form of Ithanian colonies. Despite this lack of activity by the sentient Races of Aloria, Fendarfelle is expansive, with unchecked resources simply waiting to be claimed.
The Far North
A land shielded by ice and shadow alike.
Holding the Northern Expanse, the Far North is an unexplored and treacherous wasteland unclaimed by any formal nation or people. This frontier is periled by dangerous fauna, an inhospitable climate, and is not to be ventured to by the faint of heart.
