Name Vigilance, Rosary of the Pentacle Protector
Origin City of Regalia
Tier Knightly
Type Jewelry

Vigilance is the glass rosary created for Carloman Perdammen, who served as the Pentacle Protector of Emperor Henri III. Carloman was one of the five Viridian Knights who warned the Emperor of the order’s coup conspiracy, and became the first Councilmaster of the Bloodcast Order. Carloman would soon leave the Bloodcasts to rejoin the Viridians, the only knight in history to do so, in order to serve the Emperor as his personal bodyguard. Vigilance was created soon after his appointment by the Emperor, to remind him of the purpose to protect the Crown, regardless of his Knightly affiliations. Following Carloman’s death, Vigilance was bequeathed to a Bloodcast Knight, who in turn bequeathed it to a Viridian, with this cycle continuing into recent times.

Appearance

Vigilance is a rosary necklace which features a stained glass Eye of Union held in place by soldering covered in gold leaf. Beneath the Eye hang five rays of light made with a combination of red and green glass, symbolizing the Bloodcast and Viridian memberships of its initial owner. The rosary is strung by a silver thread, with additional glass beads admiring its length.

Artifact Custom Kit

Vigilance is a Primal (Unionist God Magic) Artifact. As an Artifact, there are several rules associated with Artifact Ownership, see Artifact Page. It also provides the following Specials:

  • Bonded Jewelry: Vigilance is bonded to its owner, Kreiger von Karlisle, and therefore cannot be taken from them or destroyed beyond repair. It cannot leave emote range of Krieger, and will teleport back to them if taken out of range.
  • Meditation of Forebears: When praying, or when inside Unionist Temples, Vigilance may begin to glow with Unionist God Magic, with the glass projecting the figures of five knights upon any nearby surface, casting shimmering colors of red and green.
