Val Ilavai, Brightlord Lance, is the spear of the Avatars of Ulley from the height of the Allorn Empire. It served as their primary weapon across millennia of war against the Void Arken, most of all Pride, in combat with whom scores of Avatars perished. As the personal weapon of the most senior god in the Allorn Pantheon, it achieved renown not only as a legendary Artifact imbued with some of his Magic, but also as a symbol of the Allorn resistance against their Empire's moral decay. After a particular line of the Avatars of Ulley ended and Ilavai was left at their grave next to their armor, it was recovered by the Allorn Empress' personal guard and wielded by the eldest surviving member as a prestige object. With the Empire's collapse during Cataclysm, Ilavai was spirited away to Solleria before Demonic forces could destroy it, where it eventually appeared inside an Aelrrigan Mage-Vault.
==Origins==
As an ancient Allorn weapon, the origins of Ilavai are buried under thousands of years of history. That said, it is known that the Imperial Smith of the Second Circle, Tallas Varaan, originally created it as a Mundane object and a gift to the reigning Prince of Ilha Faial. After several centuries in his service, his son passed it down to a loyal retainer who would eventually be selected as the next Avatar of Ulley, beginning its long tradition as the Avatars' weapon, which in turn granted it its current Magical properties.
==Appearance==
Ilavai is an Allorn greatspear, several meters long. It is clear that it was originally meant for use by an individual of above-average size. However, smaller wielders are able to maneuver it without issue, as long as they treat it more like a lance. The haft is Allu'torne, a waxed Allorn wood in desaturated dulcet brown tones that reflects the light pleasingly, while the blade itself is a mysterious alloy of Nightsilver and Loon-Solay. Defying proper material identification, it glows in both sun and moonlight, giving off a keen, icy sparkle.

Broederliefde is a Tier II Artifact, meaning it is an artifact of decent power. Tier II artifacts can be blessed or restored by Entities and elevated to Tier III.

They cannot feel pain, or bleed, or be traditionally wounded, but their physical cohesion take damage. If the Bralona is hit 4 times by unique attacks or Abilities or Mundane Techniques, their body disintegrates into a singular mass. Only Abilities and Mundane Techniques that specifically cause physical damage count for this. Their mass can be moved, but their eventual re-generation cannot be stopped, and they are conscious, but can’t do anything but observe. After 30 minutes, the Bralona completely regenerates and reforms with a full health pool. Their health pool does not naturally re-generate, it only resets to full at server restart, or when they respawn.

The wielder may, when the blade starts humming (an indicator of Sangria’s owner being engaged in battle) use it to make a massive leap into the sky, seconds after which they come down and land within Emote Distance of Sangria’s Wielder. This Ability is effectively a Leap towards Sangria’s wielder from a massive distance. The Leap cannot be used to inflict damage, either on others or the wielder. It can be Countered by anti-Leap or anti-Blink Abilities however. Sangria's wielder may OOC notify the wielder of Broederliefde about being under attack.
