Melee Point Buy is part of the [[Proficiency]] System. Its Packs allow a Character to use melee weapons, and get melee weapon-related Techniques. Any learned Technique can be used on any weapon a Character knows how to use. Melee Point Buy includes a variety of options for a melee fighter to keep fighting in close quarters.
Melee Point Buy is part of the [[Proficiency]] System. Melee Point Buy is for fighters, warriors, and characters who utilize some manner of melee weapon, in whatever form that is (sword, spear, fists, axes, magic, etc.) Melee Point Buy has some restrictions on what Packs can be purchased, to reward specific Proficiency designs.

==Free Packs==
==Melee Combat==
The following packs in this section are specifically for those that have invested a significant amount into Melee, Bruiser, or Veteran Point Buy. By purchasing at least 4 Melee, Bruiser, or Veteran packs (or a combination of the two), choose one of these Abilities to unlock for free. The other can be purchased like normal, if desired.
Melee Weapons can be used to attack people without their attached Abilities. Melee Attack Emotes use Strength Proficiency as Main Combat Stat (for dice rolling). Some form of melee weapon, such as a sword, or mace, is required to make melee attack emotes. Only one of these Point Buy Packs are required for this, and if a character has no Strength, they are considered incapable of using melee based combat effectively. This is the default Main Combat Stat for Melee Weapon Characters, and can be combined with abilities that change Main Defense Stat, but without them, Constitution is used.
