Bardic Point Buy is part of the Proficiency System. Bardic Point Buy is specifically designed for support oriented characters. Bardic Point Buy provides Packs for the Character to become proficient in instruments and performance for the purpose of keeping morale high in the field of battle, whilst also providing loud disruption to their enemies.
Ability Aesthetics
Bardic Point Buy operates under "Open Aesthetics" rules. What this means is, Bardic Point Buy can be freely used with the following guidelines and suggestions: lutes, harps, guitars, flutes, other instruments, etc. This list is mostly comprehensive, but we accept suggestions for additions, within reason to the setting. Alternatively, this Proficiency can be re-flavored as Magic. This Aesthetic Flavor has no effect on Ability functionality, but might alter if your Character is considered Occult or not. You decide when you use the Ability if it is Magic or not, and can choose to use it as Non-Magic, but you cannot choose in the moment if your Character is Occult or not Occult.
Bardic Harmony Pack
Bardic Harmony is gained for Free if you have invested at least 2 Points in Bard Point Buy. Bardic Harmony allows you to make use of the Harmonic Tags of Bard Point Buy Abilities, whilst also allowing you to combo with allies.

You may use the Harmonic Tags of Bardic Point Buy Abilities. You may Target Allies with which to Harmonize. Harmonic Tags grant Bardic Point Buy Abilities additional effects based on their use order, with the first Bardic Ability used by you or a Harmonized Ally being labeled the Intro, and the last Bardic Ability used by you or a Harmonized Ally being labeled the Outro. You may use Basic Attacks between Bardic Point Buy Abilities without losing use of Harmonic Tags, but using any Ability that doesn’t activate an Outro, except Passives and Stances, causes interruption and prevents the use of Harmonic Tags until an Intro is restarted.
