|fauna13desc = The Aphed is the most common avian species of the [[Ashal Isles]], but was presumed completely extinct before the [[Asha]] returned to their [[Asha States]]. Acting as part of the complex [[Dewamenet]] infrastructure yet being a complete mystery to both the Asha and foreign researchers, Aphed form an integral part in the cycle of life and death for plant life on the Ashal Isles, only existing there. The Aphed are also a visually unique species of bird, because all parts of their body including their intestines and bodily fluids are see-through blue and luminescent, thus making the whole bird appear more like a ghost than an actual real animal, though it definitely is a real animal. Aphed also have a quasi-religious symbolism to the Asha, who believe that they feed the land and then herald the death of Asha, and as such are a stalwart and dutiful companion to the Asha their entire lives. It should come as no surprise that the Asha consider the Aphed a protected species, and killing an Aphed is considered a capital crime in the Asha Kingdoms. | |fauna13desc = The Aphed is the most common avian species of the [[Ashal Isles]], but was presumed completely extinct before the [[Asha]] returned to their [[Asha States]]. |fauna14desc = Simple yet graceful, the Crowned Eflaln, also known to the [[Altalar]] as Wïnearen-Dulsi, is a small, gold-hooded songbird most famous for its natural ability of time-keeping. Not truly domesticated, the songbird acts as a living time-piece throughout the countryside and gardens of [[Daen]], having a unique song for various hours of the day and is thus utilized more passively, being allowed to nest anywhere from farms to urban sprawls. Even when transported out of Daen, these songbirds retain their time-keeping affinity after a minor time to adjust to the new geography and are sought after more as living trinkets than animal companions. | |fauna14desc = Simple yet graceful, the Crowned Eflaln, also known to the [[Altalar]] as Wïnearen-Dulsi, is a small, gold-hooded songbird most famous for its natural ability of time-keeping. Aloria is rich in both fauna and flora. This page specifically is dedicated to all recorded, extinct or still living, animals that roam the world of Aloria. All animals are split into their relevant categories. Keep in mind that this list is not final and will be added to when necessary. As a player you may claim one of the animals and try to write a Player Lore Prompt, though remind yourself to consult Lore staff about any relevant descriptions! Anyone is permitted to Roleplay a domesticated feline, canine, or songbird where applicable. For any other wild animal, please consult Lore staff as some animals are too wild and hostile to survive in an urban city like Regalia.
