Purger is an ancient great sword used by Herebrand Knights over the many centuries spent fighting against various heathens and heretics. Originally used during the Second Skagger War to reclaim lost territories of the Wirtemcaller Kingdom, Purger eventually became carried into battle against various Void Cults and Vampire Covens. It last saw service in the hands of a Templar who fought against the remnants of the Diviner Heresy in Girobalda, after which its fate was certain. Following the integration of the Hereband Knights into the Lothar Order, Purger found a new calling against dangerous occult elements, bringing its adversaries to swift justice.
Appearance
Purger is a wide greatsword made of steel, with various Wirtemcaller prayers etched down the length of the blade. Its pommel features the Eye of Unionism, which is screwed into a grip wrapped in a pattern of black and white fibers, the colors of the Herebrand Templars. It’s scabbard is made with a black leather, with simple brass fastening clips near the receiving end.
Permanent Mechanics

Templar’s Judgement: If the user is fighting against a historic enemy of the Herebrand Templars (Evolists, Vola Worshippers, Vampires), Purger’s inscriptions on the blade will glow with a golden aura, the intensity increasing based on the number of enemies in emote distance.
