The Lothar Order does not hold a complete monopoly on the ideology of Purism. Many small splinter groups have come into and out of existence for their own, private reasons, funded by the local Nobility or simply maintained by those with fervent ideals and the means to carry them out. One such group were formerly called the Agatheritters, or the Knights of Saint Agatha- though they were no true Knightly Order. Saint Agatha the Merciful is a popularly invoked Saint of Ness in some deep forest regions of the Waldmark, as well as where it bleeds into the Genevaud Cantons and Osteiermark. She is discussed specifically to bring mercy on one's enemies: a belief quite altruistic in origin, but twisted to the 'mercy of death' by those who call on her in Purism's name. This formed the byword that gave their group its name, "may you receive Saint Agatha's mercy," before an attack was mounted. While the last of these Agatheritters were wiped out in a Mage revenge attack in the Capital four years ago, their spectre continues to rear its head here and there. Many of them were staunch supporters of the Imperialis Cabal, whose involvement in this secondary, much more violent organization was only exposed by their deaths. For that reason, a pin declaring its holder a member of the Agatheritters was diverted through Lothar Knights in the Imperialis Cabal as a curio following the disappearance of its former wearer, its significance unknown to most: but, of course, with the ever-lingering risk of being recognized by the wrong person. A younger Vittoria von Rolanthe received it from her Mentor upon being sworn in as a full member of the Lothar Order, along with the simple remark "go to the library, ask about the Agatheritters. Maybe this will be useful to you someday."
Appearance
The Agatheritter Pin is a polished gray-metal pin of a Knight in light armour on horseback spearing a nondescript monster through its serpent-like body. It seems to evoke the beasts of Leutz-Vixe folkloric tradition that were eradicated by the early settlers. Using contrast between lighter, more polished edges and darker main areas, it is a beautiful piece of work with finely attentive craftsmanship. The Pin is not very large, so the Knight does not have a face and is more symbolic, but the message is clear enough. At the bottom, there is a banner with words in Calem, etched in miniature: "Her Mercy, Without Mercy."

Unforgiven: The Agatheritter Pin may, at some point, unlock additional dialogue options with certain NPCs. If it does, this will always be initiated by the DM, not by the Player. These dialogue options may ultimately be either positive or negative depending on which NPC recognizes the Pin.
