The shovel of a begging man dug up an old grave tucked away in a snowy clearing. Drixagh, cold yet full of history, entombed many Skaggers who fought for their lives in the wars of the same name. One person felled during this time was an old woman by the name of Hildr, who had lived in the same village for her entire life. Hildr was a complete recluse, who barely left the small lodge that she had spent so much time in. Villagers would often bring her books upon her request- having no heart to say no to the awkward woman. Thus, she learned much about the world, all from the comfort of her own home. Rumor has it that Hildr was a Veilwalker, or even a Demon of the Dictat Plane. There is no good explanation behind Hildr’s identity, nor are there any records of her ever existing. All that was found was the body dug up by that begging man, with the skeleton holding onto a diary. The man found it useless, for he could barely read, and so it was sold to the quickest buyer. Along the next few years, it was passed into an Aelrrigan’s hands, then gifted to Judith Solheim after her graduation into a Knight-Captain.
Appearance
Hildr’s Diary is a large book binded together with dark brown leather. Its pages are long and thin, tinted with a faint yellow color. Many pages have been scrawled over with black ink, primarily written in Skodje. Some passages are made up of Common, but in an older version of the language that is now outdated. There is a dark blue string of ribbon that is preserving a spot at the middle of the book.
Permanent Mechanics

Bright Mind: Judith has a knack for teaching other people about her own interests. She is a great source for learning about different topics, and any student of hers seems to learn quicker than most.
