|fauna9desc = The Jungle Rhino is relatively unknown to the wider world despite its large size and role in the [[Sendrassian Civil War]]. It was a horrific tool of infanticide, used by both sides, which resulted in those populations on the Frzzsollona Peninsula being annihilated, and those nearby to flee from revenge carried out by the [[Void]] convert [[Allar]] at the end of the war. The animal is known for its bulky size, heavyweight and a single horn on the end of its snout. While rare to outsiders, with no specimens surviving off of Sendras for more than a few years, the animal is pursued for its valuable horn which is unique as it is not made of ivory, but keratin. However, given the vastness of [[Sendras]], it is unlikely the animal will be hunted to extinction by the vengeful Void converts or nefarious poachers.

|fauna10    = [[Heerstepper]]
|fauna10desc =
|fauna10desc = A large, strong, and robust black horse that shrugs in the face of intimidation, the origins of the Heerstepper may be a mystery but its impact on [[Aloria]] has not been. Used for centuries by Ailor as a mount in combat, the fact that it cannot be frightened or hurt by arrows turned it into a critical shock unit on many early battlefields. Since that time, the [[Regalian Empire]] now faces more complex foes, but the Heerstepper remains in the back pocket of the [[Regal Cultures]] and those closest to them for use as needed.

|fauna11    = [[Cheval du Ciel]]
|fauna11desc = The Cheval du Ciel is an impressive steed in the equestrian world and a beloved symbol of [[Ithanian]] society. A lithe but athletic horse with large wings and long tail hairs, the Cheval can both fly through the air with grace and speed, and gallop on the ground. It has been utilized by the advanced aerial units of the [[Ithanian Sovereignty]] known as the Chevaux de l’Aïr for over two centuries, and today is found in a variety of Ithanian spawn-off [[Cultures]] or those heavily influenced by their society.

|fauna12    = [[Zirkand Horse]]
|fauna12desc = Known as a fearsome mount for the [[Ânia]], [[Byala]], [[Dvala]], [[Ohrneti]], [[Szabadok]] [[Cultures]], the Zirkand Horse is sure to inspire fear in the hearts of any who gaze upon them. Possessing horns on their foreheads and shoulders that aim forward, the creatures are used to impale and run down those that oppose their riders. The animal has a similarly dark mentality, wild and aggressive even in domesticated circles, resulting in many dark tales as to how they were created, and their ties to the terrors of the south-eastern lands of the [[Regalian Archipelago]].

|fauna13    = [[Ulaan Shiraal]]
|fauna13desc = The Ulaan Shiraal straddles the line for many between an equine and a cervid, but its form is ultimately that of a horse. They are quite noticeable, having a slender, lithe build alongside elegant antlers and an exceptionally long tail. They have another unique trait on top of this: they can seek out valuable metals and gemstones on the surface through scent. Since the dawn of the [[Altalar]], the creature has been associated with the great creator of objects and nature, [[Sca’Elle]], and unlike other creatures tied to the [[Altalar Pantheon]], this one was not felled by [[Magic]]-fueled cultism. With the rebirth of the [[Allorn Empire]], it is only a matter of time until the Ulaan become synonymous once again with the Altalar who so commonly rode them in past centuries.

|fauna14    = [[Ilithars]]
|fauna14desc = A short-haired horse that has a satin-beige coat and bright white milky eyes, the Ilithars is a strange creature well known for centuries to both the [[Solvaan]] [[Altalar]] and the [[Ailor]] [[Cultures]] from surrounding areas. These lands suffered raids at the hands of the Solvaan for years, and the Ilithars played a key role in these conflicts since the creature somehow allowed Solvaan to produce the [[Sollerian Mist 1]] Ability, which would then travel with their mount and allow for a moving spot of improved speed for all Solvaan. Now, the [[Regalian Empire]] benefits from this strange ability, but the equine is also seen as a unique symbol of the region’s misty terrain and mysterious past.

|fauna15    = [[Nerrin Alaan]]
|fauna15desc = The Nerrin Alaan is a fascinating equine native to the Ularen Plains of [[Daen]]. A horse with colored scales on its neck and back and forehead, it is also notable for how it can telepathically communicate with its bonded rider. Kept by the [[Avanthar]] and [[Qússrakón]] [[Ailor]], being revered as an animal of great and mystical ability, the Nerrin Alaan has suffered along with its riders in the chaos that has gripped the grasslands it calls home. But, elsewhere, the animal has escaped unscathed in those Avanthar exiled or living abroad, who keep their fine, strange, and beloved steeds safe and loved, just as the equine similarly cares for them too.

Aloria is rich in both fauna and flora. This page specifically is dedicated to all recorded, extinct or still living, animals that roam the world of Aloria. All animals are split into their relevant categories. Keep in mind that this list is not final and will be added to when necessary. As a player you may claim one of the animals and try to write a Player Lore Prompt, though remind yourself to consult Lore staff about any relevant descriptions! Anyone is permitted to Roleplay a domesticated feline, canine, or songbird where applicable. For any other wild animal, please consult Lore staff as some animals are too wild and hostile to survive in an urban city like Regalia.
